| C3 Environmental Limited is the exclusive Canadian licensee for the Waterloo Barrier®, a steel sheet piling system with sealable joints designed to provide a very low permeability barrier for containment of groundwater. Waterloo Barrier® can be utilized to construct cutoff walls, for source zone isolation cells and as impermeable structural shoring to facilitate excavation of contaminated soils. It was developed at the University of Waterloo under the direction of Professor John Cherry. As well as participating in the development of the system, we have completed numerous projects for major industrial clients across North America.

| C3 Environmental is the exclusive Canadian Representative for iSOC™.iSOC™ is a specially designed, highly structured, microporous mass transfer device designed for use in enhanced groundwater remediation. The iSOC™, or in situ Submerged Oxygen Curtain, is based on Gas inFusion™ technology, which is patented worldwide. Essentially, this technology involves using hydrophobic, microporous hollow fibres to infuse groundwater with any gas. The iSOC™ unit is filled with these fibres. The desired gas is piped into the unit saturating the fibres, using a standard compressed gas cylinder and regulator arrangement. The fibres in the iSOC™ unit provide a large surface area to volume ratio to allow intimate contact between the gas and groundwater, which results in an ultra efficient mass transfer. This transfer of gas into the groundwater occurs without bubbles.

C3 Environmental is the exclusive agent and representative for the application of the MECX's patented in situ chemical oxidation, ISCO, in Canada. ISCO is a patented technology to remediate hydrocarbon and other organic contamination in groundwater and saturated soil. The ISCO technology is an in-situ process involving the creation and migration of hydroxyl radicals using Fenton's reaction. The hydroxyl radicals that are produced degrade organic contamination to carbon dioxide and water.

Using Funnel-and-Gate™ technology, C3 Environmental Limited has installed in situ, passive or semi-passive remediation systems for contaminated groundwater. Materials such as EnviroMetal Technologies Incorporated's granular iron formulation have been used for treatment of dissolved halogenated organic chemicals. Such materials can be installed in permeable reactive barriers (PRBs) or in Funnel-and-Gate™ configurations.
C3 Environmental Limited has jointly developed and installed bioremediation systems to remediate contaminated soil and air streams. The company also has experience with more conventional site remediation services such as excavation and disposal of contaminated soils and pump-and-treat systems.
